The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the registration dates for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).
The JAMB UTME registration will kick off on February 3rd, 2025, and end on March 8th, 2025. While direct entry registration starts on February 10th, 2025, and ends on April 7th, 2025.
Before you start the registration, please download and fill out the registration template to make the process easier.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025. However, if a candidate is younger than 16 by this date, they must be officially recognized by JAMB as exceptionally brilliant to qualify for a waiver.
To be considered exceptionally brilliant, the candidate must score at least 80% in each of the following: UTME/A-Level, Post-UTME, Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC), and the exceptional candidate examination.
MOCK Exam for Trial Testing Only
Underage candidates who do not meet the age requirement or do not intend to seek admission for the 2025/2026 session can register for the mock exam by paying N3,500. This fee covers the reading text, CBT centre registration, mock examination, and bank charges.
Once a candidate completes their 2025 JAMB registration using biodata supplied by NIMC, JAMB will not allow any changes to the biodata for 2025 admission.
NOTE: Before creating your JAMB profile via 55019, ensure your details match your NIMC records because changes to name or date of birth will not be allowed.
For 2025, any updates made to your data by NIMC will be reflected in your previous JAMB records, but you must go through a re-query process using TEMPL003 during registration to retrieve the updated details. However, any replaced data will be tracked and shown as a footnote on the candidates profile and all related slips.
